I was diagnosed with Bile Duct Cancer in October and had stents done in December, just waiting for next step. Having another scan done in March and waiting to see if they are going to do chemo.
Hi I was surprised by the diagnosis too. All treatment I have come under the palliative therapy as there is actually no cure for what I have.
I have bile duct cancer too. The word terminal is only used when there are no further treatments available, that’s why they call us incurable. New treatments are becoming available reasonably often now, so at least the future doesn’t look quite so gloomy.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
