Hello I am Rsandfg and this is the first time that I have posted here, or pretty much anywhere.
I am rapidly approaching my 81st birthday and if I hadn’t had the diagnosis I would say that there is nothing wrong with me other than ageing.
Is this where I can ask for help or guidance about what is likely to happen as the disease progresses. I did not ask for a prognosis when given the diagnosis as I could not see any benefit knowing something which is likely to be variable.
Hi rsandfg and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I'm sorry to read that you have been diagnosed with bile duct cancer and, yes, this is a safe place to ask questions, share experiences and get support.
It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
