I was diagnosed with bile duct cancer in December. I saw oncologist in January. Started chemo in February which has finished now . I have had a scan and tumour has not shrunk. I am devastated about this. But my concern in all of this I have not had any support in relation to this. I have only had phone calls with oncologist before my next treatment. I have never felt so alone especially when I have felt so unwell. Why is it that other types of cancer get support.?
Hi Jasper, I am so sorry to read this. I'm not sure where you're based but, Maggie's is a fantastic place to visit. You can check their website to see where the nearest one is located to you... https://www.maggies.org/about-us/how-maggies-works/our-story/ I'd highly recommend it.
