Hi was wondering if anyone could help me ... I had breast cancer 8 years ago had everything both breasts removed cemo and rads ... in June went to a&e had lots of tests as I was jaundice had been having pain in tummy and back pain but no rash I was in hospital for a week and they put a stent in I also had a very bad infection I’m a lady and am 54 while having stent brushes took a biopsy this came back clear but doctors said they want to send me for a more detailed biopsy with a needle but when I came round the doctor said he didn’t do the biopsy as he saw something concerning ... I’m so worried they now want to do another ERCP my third in weeks and am currently waiting for appointment if anyone could please help me I would be very great full as am very scared thankyou

What sort of help were you looking for? If it's a question to do with bile duct cancer or the ERCP then you could post your question in the ask a nurse section and one of the specialist nurses will respond within 2 working days. Alternatively, you could phone the Macmillan Support Line on 0808 808 0000 to speak to one of the nurses. It's free to call and is available every day between 8am and 8pm.
I know that waiting for tests and results is horrible and there's no easy answer on how to cope. I busied myself with my hobbies as I found that doing something I enjoyed helped me forget about the cancer. You might like to take a look through this information that Macmillan have produced on coping with fear and anxiety.
