I have just heard on my way home this evening (15th April 2024) that Radio 5 live were doing a report on anal cancer on their Drive show which starts at 4pm. A lady was comng on to talk about her experience of it as she had gone to doc after hearing Deborah James talk about bowel cancer, but hers turned out to be anal.
Of course, typically I didn't hear it but it will be available on BBC sounds for a while. Just thought it might be an interesting listen since we don't often hear it discussed.
Not sure if this is the right place to post but hopefully a few people will see it.
Thank you so much for alerting us to this - I will certainly listen.

Hi Suz, I did listen to it later but although it was good to hear anal cancer mentioned, there wasn't much on a practical level except to report any changes to your body or poo. It was a little disappointing tbh, no advice or support offered.
Good job we've got this group then!
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
