Feeling worried it will come back
Hi Cat22 and welcome to the group. I take it you’ve finished treatment, have you had any scan results yet? A cancer diagnosis really does throw you a curved ball doesn’t it. Even if the scans post treatment are clear there’s always the worry that the next one won’t be. We can all relate to these fears in this group. The psychological effects of cancer can be worse than the physical effects. There are measures you can take to help. You can request a referral to an Oncological Psychologist, this approach helped me. Other members of the group have tried other methods such as meditation and hypnotherapy. I would also recommend talking to your colo-rectal nurse about your fears if you feel able to. Bev.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
