A few weeks back I was in the excruciating screaming poop stage - now I'm 16 days post treatment and I'm definitely feeling some sparkle return!
I appreciate that it's early days and I feel very fortunate. And my hope by sharing this, is that it's a reminder that pain passes - it will get better.... moment by moment. Our journeys and symptoms will be different....but hopefully we all get to sparkle again!!

Hello Ali
You look amazing not to mention absolutely sparkling - I love putting a face to the name! I am so happy that you are getting back on track and thank you so much for sharing your path. Have a lovely day on Monday!

Hi Ali,
What a wonderful message of hope and encouragement!
I know it can be hard to hear the words ‘you’re looking great’ but you really are and your posts are so helpful, inspiring, open and honest.
I remember your first posts when you first got your diagnosis and had just lost your beloved dog and I’m so happy that things are moving forward and you are starting to find your sparkle again.
Big hug to you x
Thank you Poppydays2 - today we're going to try a run over to "Waitrose" and have a cuppa on their cafe - honestly can't believe how excited I am by that prospect!!!
Have a wonderful weekend

Oh gosh PEB24
I think I've cried a river since the 19 October (colonoscopy day), I still feel like there are many more tears to come too - breaks my heart thinking about Dyson.
It's definitely a journey to get to here and I feel so fortunate and blessed - when you're in it - you're still worrying about what's to come and how bad might it get. Even today I'm worried about the next BM and also about to try out the dilators! But - it's been so helpful reading the experiences of others and knowing that there is life after this treatment - it might be a new normal but there's life!!
A massive thank you too for being such a source of wisdom throughout - by sharing your advice and experience - it made such a positive difference to my journey, reading your posts - thank you.
Enjoy the weekend
