Hi everyone, a happy little update from us. Hubby has gone back to work!! Only part time for now as his job is quite manual; but its a huge step in the right direction. After 7 months of being off the strain both financially and mentally has been hard, but I am happy to report that his mental health is doing a lot better now that he has returned to work. Remembering to take all his supplies with him has been challenging
Still no news from the hospital re the complaint that was registered in July, they have acknowledged it but that's it, when we have chased them its just "oh these things take time".
Anyway, lets not focus on that part for now.
Morning, I am glad your husband is getting back to work. My husband is just over a month post… we got him a wallet so he can just keep all his supplies in his pocket. We have just been told when they analysed the tissue there was no tumour or cancer… he got full response. Great news but you’re right it’s definitely a mental challenge with the extent of the operation. So getting used to the new norm… trial and error. But we will get there X Take care x
Hello Mrs Washington
That is really wonderful news and I am sure will do wonders for his moral. And please, don't let the hospital off the hook!
Hope you have a lovely Christmas
Irene xx
