Scans and medical appointments after treatment

Hi

I finished my 28 day treatment at the end of August and have recovered pretty well.  I am off back to work on a phased return next week.

I see my oncologist in October and have an MRI end of November. I was told i would have a CT scan 12 months after treatment.

I was wondering how often i will have appointments etc. In the first year. Will it be with oncology team or back with colorectal team?  What are other members experiences?

  • Hi  well done on getting through the treatment. I'm nearly 2 years post and I had an mri  every 3 months post 2 cts and a PET plus a physical every 3 months in the first year. Year 2 I've had a physical every 3 months, an mri every 6 and a yearly ct. Every 3 month appointment has been with my oncologist. Good luck going back to work.  X
