The worry that the cancer may return is always there with all of us, but six and a half years is a really long time between treatment and recurrence.  But you certainly did the right thing in requesting further investigation.

I am really hoping that what you are experiencing is scar tissue and inflammation.  I am not a medic, however, I am four and a half years out of treatment and I definitely have a new normal after radiotherapy and I find it really uncomfortable to sit on a hard chair.  

I am sending lots of good wishes your way that everything will go smoothly today and your worries come to nothing.  But please let us know how you get on.

I hope your colonoscopy only shows scar tissue or something totally benign. You are past the 5 year mark so hopefully nothing serious. I know it is always a concern tho.
