I've made it through the first week. It was rough, but my energy returned a bit today with no chemo or radiation on the calendar until Monday.
But I've been having the worst stomach cramping and watery stools, which I know is normal. My question is about some blood I'm seeing when I go after not seeing any or much of that before starting treatment. I guess this could be a sign that the tumor and surrounding tissue is inflamed and irritated, which I guess is ultimately a good thing? I will mention it to my oncologist but was wondering if any of you encountered this? Thanks!
