Hi Flowerpot26 Yep! Totally normally. Unless they see v v significant drops, they just roll with it! My bloods were all over thw place! And my Liver function was 10x normal at one stage but all will right itself. Eat what your body tells you and rest xx best way to help your body recover. I was eating for three at one point! Try not to stress yourself as it might not happen. We all think of the worst case just in case and sometimes it may not happen. Rest up and take care of yourself x
Flowerpot26 It is so tricky when you feel rather vulnerable. Every week brings a new challenge! I am 6 weeks post and my bloods are still off - it can take 2-3months to get back to normal apparently. I knelt on my knee (no pain at all) and now have a big bruise on it! Chemo...sigh... xx
I agree with the others, chemo does affect the blood readings in all sorts of ways, and that's why they constantly check. If you need extra medication or treatment they will be on top of it.
Nevertheless, so worrying for you - I have said before that occasionally someone in the treating team will drop in a comment that sets us off on a spiral - we are all on heightened alert after a cancer diagnosis and know exactly how you feel.
