So sorry Flowerpot26 your post didn't appear on my feed. During treatment I bought an inflatable Boot pregnancy ring (although there are many others available).
Afterwards I bought https://www.amazon.co.uk/JML-Soft-Sitter-Honeycomb-Cushion/dp/B0D4FBBQN5/It has worked the best for me, I have them strategically placed all around the house and one in the car too, the joys of very tender nether regions!
Best of luck and if your cushions travel with you, don't forget to take them as you leave!
