Has anyone had severe constipation and strong pressure during carboplatin/paclitaxel treatment? I’m on my third treatment and it feels like my tumour has suddenly gotten much bigger. I can barely pass stool and have to push very hard.
I’m scared it means the tumour is growing, though I’m wondering if it could be irritation or inflammation. Has anyone experienced this? Please let me know.
Hello ALEXbukaf4650d
I would mention it to your oncologist BUT I had chronic constipation after every chemo session and was given Laxido and then resorted to Lactulose as the Laxido wasn't strong enough. The constipation stopped when the chemo did, I am sure it will be the same for you, fingers crossed.

Hi ALEXbukaf4650d , I would do as Irene has suggested & run this one by your oncology team, hopefully this is just a side effect from the chemo. I hope you get some relief soon. Let us know how you get on.
