Hi everyone
Hope you are doing well in your journey.
I want to have a bag ready to grab for the hospital if need be ( hopefully not needed) . Treatment starts next week so trying to get myself organised.
is there anything in particular you would suggest to put in it ?
Ta Michelle x
Hopefully if you are having the standard chemo/radiotherapy then you won’t need a hospital stay. But when I had an operation a few years ago the game changer for me was those little bottles of Robinson squash that you can squirt into a glass of water. Warm water isn’t particularly nice to drink so flavouring it without having to have a huge bottle to knock over was good for me.
Also earplugs - hospitals are very noisy!
I took a pair of hotel freeby slippers too, which were great to have and easy to slip on and off.
Good luck with your treatment. I’ve completed 18 of the standard 28 treatments. Feels like the end is finally in sight! xx
