Hi everyone,
It’s been a while since I last posted here — I’m not sure if you remember me, but I began treatment for stage 3 anal cancer back in February and finished in April. I’m based in Spain, and these past few months have been all about healing, spending precious time with family and friends, and rebuilding my strength and health.
Last week, I had my follow-up scans and received the most incredible news: my oncologist confirmed the tumour has completely disappeared. I’m officially cancer-free! I can’t begin to express the relief and joy I feel. It’s honestly overwhelming in the best possible way.
Thank you all for all the kind words, information and support you have given me
To anyone currently going through treatment or about to start, please know that it’s all worth it. The journey is tough, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Sending you strength, courage, and so much love.
That’s wonderful news!! So happy for you. Yes it is all worth it.
Big hugs
Happyflower xx
