Apply a very thin layer everywhere in the genital area, and yes, not actually in the vagina but between bum cheeks, the perineum and vulva.

You aren't overthinking in the least - this is all new to you and it is best to be well-prepared before treatment, so keep asking about anything that you are not sure about!

Exactly what Irene said.... pay attention to all the creases. If you need something internally later on, you can speak to the nurses and they will advise/provide you with the right thing xx

Did you use Strata XRT on its own, or in conjunction with other creams?

AllyL, Strata XRT is the only cream that can safely be used before radiotherapy as it doesn't interfere with the dose at all as some other creams would.  At other times you can carry on moisturising everywhere as long as the skin isn't too sensitive. xx
