Underwear used throughout Radiotherapy

Hi All,

I am just wondering what underwear you used during radiotherapy? I had 28 sessions of radiation, towards the end the only underwear that felt comfortable was my partners boxer shorts. I couldn't bare anything on my groin region, due to the burns the radiotherapy was causing.

Really would be interested to know, what worked well for you?

Soft cotton boxers for me too. Nothing else worked for me. Xx

The chemo/radiotherapy caused diarrhoea and l was really concerned about being caught short, so wore Tena pants to and from the hospital. And then - not a stitch. Got into my nightdress when I got home and would lie splay-legged on bed relishing the relief for my poor skin. Took me a while to get back into knickers again!
