Advice on what to expect from treatment

I’m a Scot and going to my daughters wedding in Scotland next month-most of the men will be in kilts, so I might report back on current practices with this!

Seeing how weddings aren't nearly so formal these days and people get up to all sorts of japes I imagine there will be underwear worn all the way!  But when I was young in Scotland, very few men wore a kilt, it is something that has come about in the last 20 - 30 years isn't it?  Both my nephews have kilts that come out at every special occasion.

Thanks Irene-I’m very excited, although nervous about my stomas! Kilts are really popular nowadays with young men-my soon to be son in law will be wearing one, and I think all his groomsmen. My ex husband will be in tartan trousers he tells me so he’s bucking the trend! He hasnt really got the figure for it-too slim.

I always go commando when wearing my kilt.

Most Scottish men rent their kilts and they’re told to always wear underwear. If you own your own , tradition is to go commando. 

I'll check what my nephews do - I think they eventually both bought their own as they are young men and so many of their friends are getting married..
