Just wanted to say hello. I just got my diagnosis yesterday and will be going into hospital to start treatment on Tuesday. A bit of a whirlwind at the moment and I’m feeling pretty nervous but going in with a fighting spirit.
Glad to have found this group!
Welcome to the ALL corner of the forums. I know its not the place any of us wanted to end up but we are a friendly bunch. I was diagnosed with ALL in 2012 and like you it all happened quickly. I went to the local A&E as was short of breath and chest pains (it was because I was anaemic).. was diagnosed within a few hours and put in an ambulance to Barts in London the next day to start the treatment.
The nervousness is to be expected and good to hear that you are going in with a fighting spirit tomorrow. You can see my story under my profile if you click HERE
If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
Paul
