Breast cancer travel insurance

Having had cancer twice, including breast cancer, I know how tricky it can be getting affordable travel insurance. 

Have you taken a look through the members recommended travel insurance thread yet? There are lots of recommendations from others there so your best bet is to make a list and then settle down with a cup of tea and your phone to contact the insurers.

I've personally used payingtoomuch.com and goodtogoinsurance.com in the past.

I’m currently using Staysure (one of the companies on the Macmillan list). It’s expensive but my husband and I have a number of medical conditions and we wanted annual cover.

I used Albert & Eddie which is a comparison site owned by the same group that also owns Insurancewith and Holiday Safe and took out cover with the latter.

Have you tried Lighthouse - https://www.lighthousetravelinsurance.co.uk/in-partnership-with-macmillan they have a Partnership with Macmillan.

Hi, we managed to get cover from Insurancewith for my mum who is 84 and has breast cancer.  this is for a trip to the US to see grandkids, i think we had 25+ rejections from others before we found them.  their screening questionnaire is much more detailed than others so you can better describe your situation and hopefully avoid a rejection.
