Hi Dadshead05 welcome to the forum and I am so very sorry to hear what is happening for you right now. It is very difficult to watch one you love become weaker and more frail and I wonder if you are in touch with your dad's GP or hospital team? My main reason for asking is that they could potentially see your Dad and make some recommendations for his ongoing care for you. It sounds to me like you are being a living daughter doing all you can to best care for your Dad. Others can help both for you and dad and if you felt you wanted to speak to someone you can always give the Macmillan Line a call they are good listeners..08088080000. I have rang the help line but they said they are not clinical so could not advise i have a macmillan nures assigned but she is on holiday and no, s dad and is not here till 9 of July last came 6 June in that time he as got worse he is very weak but not eating but still smoking just gave him ice cream said don't wanting it i have rang District nurse today about his heels they come once a week he is complaining it is sore they are due Friday said can't come till Friday so put heels on edge of cushion in mean time to help with pressure don't no what else to do thank for you help
