Hi everyone, Just joined feeling very emotional & at my wits end today, i think it has hit home my brother may only have weeks left. He has discharged himself from hospital as he thinks he has a better chance if he self medicates at home. He lives alone, we are not allowed to discuss his future as regards to his health or managing his health....he insists his positivity will save him. i know he is in alot of pain & im worried about the future & the best way to support him xx
Hi and welcome to the online community
I'm very sorry to hear how you are feeling after your brother discharged himself from hospital. I don't have any words of wisdom to offer I'm afraid having never been in that situation myself.
Could I suggest that you give the Macmillan Support Line a call on 0808 808 0000 and have a chat with one of the advisors. It's free to call and available from 8am to 8pm every day of the week. They're very good at listening
