Bloody hell it's come back. I have petscan tomorrow. Anyone one here had any experience where dblc has relapsed after Car-t? I'm thinking be radio if localised then allo stem cell transplant can't believe it. Maybe they can give a drug to boost cart cells

Very true moomy I have done one short session during the 7 week Maggie's 'where Now?' course........ the main problem was getting back up off the floor
But having 4 granddaughters under 7 the main 'space' I need is my bed
Hi Mike, Had to have 12 weeks off after my Mx, I really missed it, it helps all parts of my life now, sleep especially, I almost felt like asking if I could record a session in case I miss them again!
Hugs xxx
ps I’m definitely more able to get up off my mat these days, maybe it’s helping my flexibility at last!

Hi guys
I found out sadly my sibling is not a match for allo transplant. I have been told I've been matched with 3 other possible donor unrelated but is it better to have someone related?
Should be starting clinical trial on Monday. Getting so much anxiety that it could be delayed due to corona. My Hubbie telling me that's rubbish and I'm at specialist hospital and won't be but so scared.

Hi Alice, no not necessarily. An unrelated donor can be just as effective and for some people actually better.
There is a low chance (20%?) that a blood relation will be a good match.
3 matches is a very good result as they can now look in more detail who is the ‘very’ best.
SCT is an urgent cancer procedure and the units are dedicated for this purpose ((hugs))
How are you doing, Alice? I'm awaiting results of biopsy and doubt whether the original plan of I've chemo and car-t cell treatment will go ahead. Every resource seems to be going into covid19. I hope you're still on course and feeling ok?
Regards, Lynda xx
Hi Lynda
I'm alright thanks. How are you? I'm continuing with the clinical trial just starting cycle 2 and have scan end of April. I can see some improvement with tumour shrinking. It is pretty crazy with covid 19 but trying to stay calm. Their restricting visits as much as possible so I'm getting the injection in one day now and have follow up few days later for ECG and bloods.
