Hi everyone,
Im due to start radiotheraphy and endocrine theraphy soon but not sure on what creams i can use as ive been warned that radiotherapy treatment feels like very bad sun burn, which im already experiencing after having lymph nodes removed.
Any suggestions would be very grateful, ive heard moogoo is good but so many on internet not sure which one is best, also people have also suggested aloe vera gel but again so many out there to choose its so confusing.
Hi Mightyduck
I had external beam radiotherapy to my pelvis in 2022.
I used Tropic Skincare tamanu balm. I normally use the Tropic range and was told it was ok to continue during treatment.
I was also given some cream on my first session by the radiotherapists but actually used the tamanu balm. I do get eczema and have sensitive skin and found that tamanu products help. I also like that they are natural.
It is always best to check with radiotherapists before using any different creams as some can affect you during treatment.
I wish you well for your treatment and do please ask if there is anything you need.
Jane
