All I know is that I’m having a dye put in hand to detect cancer cells for radiotherapy to be honest I feel like giving up I’m absolutley petrified of having the pain from radiotherapy I know they try and help and everything is different for each person but I’m so scared they said I don’t need a peg or tube as only having it one side I’ve had all my teeth removed last Thursday I don’t know how much more I can cope and deal with
Have you phoned Chris Curtis at the swallows if your mouth is feeling better?
Don’t give up. You’ll get a nasogastric tube if you can’t eat. They won’t abandon you.
Do you have support at home?
Yes my husband amazing I’m speaking a little today Chris emailed me a little but I struggle to understand long words and medical terms x my mouth feels a little better today but I’m having literally horrendous nightmares of radiotherapy on my throat and neck I’m scared of the pain as I’ve had so much the last few months x
