Hi, my 83 year old dad has recently been diagnosed with oesophagus cancer, he's had a stent fitted 3 days ago which the hospital thinks caused a mild heart attack. We've got dad back home now, but due to his age the doctors have decided the cancer will not be treated. He's at T3, N1,M0. But my biggest concern is that he's not eating and drinking enough as he feels constantly full and uncomfortable. For example yesterday he ate a bowl of cornflakes (while he was still in hospital), and one scrambled egg when he got home and said he couldn't eat anything else he was too full. I would really appreciate any tips or advice from anyone experiencing a similar situation. Many thanks for allowing me to join the group.
