Hello, I had a Hysteroscopy mid July which showed I had Endometrial cancer with spread to left Ovary. Surgery was not an option at this time so I started Chemotherapy two weeks after diagnosis. It's been a real whirlwind and it's been hard to process all the information. I've just finished my third treatment , with nerve pain increasing in the first week after each treatment. I had been advised to get SuzziPad cold packs for my feet which initially were great, however not to effective this time. Thankfully I don't have any other serious side affects, apart from feeling exhausted all the time of which has increased after each treatment.

After my second treatment I took an allergic reaction to one of the drugs overnight when at home, and ended up in A&E with very high temperature and rash on my body. Thankfully things were dealt with quickly and I got home next day.

However I feel very let down by the Nurse Specialist, who I phoned on the Monday to ask for advice on whether this reaction meant my treatment plan would change or was there anything I could do to reduce risk of it happening again. Unfortunately she never responded to my message, I even call the secretary for advice in case the nurse had been on holiday, but still no one responded, even although the secretary said she would get someone to contact me. This made me feel very isolated and wondered if anyone else had experienced this and how they dealt with it.
