Bowel cancer spread to base of skull

Hi everyone:)

I had a lower anterior resection for rectal cancer 6 years ago. 
All ok for two years then 2 nodules found in lung. Went on watch and wait for 2 years as they were tiny and slow growing then had SABR.
All ok for another 2 years then was just about to have SABR again for another lung nodule when I started with tongue deviation! After 8 doctors appointments (!) I was eventually sent to A&E and they found a lesion in the bone at base of skull! Emergency radiotherapy which held it back for 5 months then it started to progress again- alerted by onset of double vision! My vision improved but a week ago I started with double vision again even though my scans showing stable were only 2 weeks ago.

Now been on capecitabine,Bevacizumab and Denosumab for 6 months.

i believe further radiotherapy isn’t an option so looking to pay privately for a second opinion with a specialist in London who specialises in neurological issues.

i wondered if anyone had similar metastatic spread to base of skull and if any treatment was successful?
