I have just recently been diagnosed with hormonal breast cancer. I’m having the lump and some of the nodes removed in a few weeks time. Providing it’s all ok I’ll be having radiotherapy. Can anyone recommend a fragrance free moisturiser to start using to protect and minimise the effects of the radiotherapy. Many thanks

I found Aveeno Dermexa to be excellent. It’s the bottles with the blue writing. Put it on after treatment and before you go to bed, but shower it off before going for a session. The other important thing is to drink a lot of water. You may find tiredness build up but it will resolve after a few weeks. Don’t ne surprised if you develop what seems like sunburn a few weeks later. My skin went through about 3 peeling cycles at that point, along the area where there is skin overlap, and in my surgery scar.
