Forgot to say Hi, I’m new to this group, and wasn’t sure whether to join, as it’s my hubby who was diagnosed. Thankyou for any advice, gratefully received x
Last Tuesday, 18th Aug, hubby had appt with local Doctor for result of Chest XRay and CT scan. Was told he had lung cancer, but no spread to his bones. Total shock at diagnosis, thought maybe his shortness of breath was a chest infection or possibly the start of COPD.
Hello Yorkiepud,
A warm welcome to the acmillan online community, although I'm very sorry you have the need to join. Are you by chance from somewhere in Yorkshire?
You have come to the right place for information and support. The community is made up of many specific cancer groups and I'd like to suggest that you join our lung cancer forum and repost there. We have many members for discussion, help and advice or just a good chat based on their own experiences. You can ask or discuss anything you would like.
I've attached a link below, if you click on this it will take you straight there.
I'll look out for you on there.
Derek.
