Hey,
New to all of this and really do not not know what to do. I am 2 weeks post surgery for a Total Hysterectomy following initial tests having found suspected Endometrial Cancer in the upper posterior part of my womb. The surgeon says they got everything out but that I had complications from loss of blood due to 'perforation' of the Uterus. This was addressed during surgery but it took longer than it should have. I've had a terrible time in first week post surgery but I'm feeling much better now, although I am currently dealing with a tricky UTI and infected wounds, for which I am having to take strong antibiotics.
I've just received notification that my post-op 'telephone' consultation to discuss the results to determine if the growth was cancer or not, is scheduled for end of September! I'm really worried about this as this will make this near 8 weeks post surgery. I'm worried that if it is Cancer and I need any follow up Cancer treatment as an action plan, time is of essence and I think this should be much sooner. I've been waiting since early June since being told that the MRI had picked it up!
Am I right to be worried?
