I just had ultrasound and mammogram bird 95%. I am scared and overwhelmed. I moved to Spain and what a disaster with dealing with that and the red tape and language problems. My insurance doesnt cover cancer and a new one that does might see that.and not cover and is expensive.
Trying to get NHS Spain is also taking g time and work and im scarednof it. You have to have a translator and pay for that for each appointment.
Moving back at this time when im exhausted??
How do I sell my home and my stuff and organize that and where? Where is good treatment there and i have never driven there. So expensive too in south.
Im all over the place and can't sleep. All appointments are in morning all bureaucracy is in morning and I sleep.then.
I feel doomed.
Hi Valpal and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community, and I was diagnosed with breast cancer four years ago so have a good idea how you're feeling right now.
As you know, the online community is divided into different support groups and I can see that you've already found and joined the breast cancer group which is a great place to connect directly with others who have the same type of cancer as you.
When you feel ready you can start a new post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
It would be great if you could put something about your diagnosis and proposed treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
