My partner has just been diagnosed with suspected appendiceal mucinous tumour with concern for PMP(appendix cancer) and is awaiting cytoreductive surgery and HIPEC at Christie’s hospital.
It’s only been two weeks and the surgery is planned for the end of July, I’m really struggling with it as I hate change and I’m scared of what’s the future going to be like for both of us.
im scared I’m not going to be strong enough to get through it all, he’s my absolute world. I’m trying to be positive for him but each day I feel worse with anxiety and dread,
any help or advice would be greatly recieved xx
