is under control , I didn’t have any idea of this condition until this bad flare up ( despite working in pharmacy ) , I’m waiting on my appointment with gynaecologist to check it out , I was lucky to speak to a doctor on nhs 24 who prescribed everything she could to get me through until my GP could examine me 2 days later and again she agreed that it could be LS . I here because it was like reading my history so I’m hoping to learn more and it was surprising how many men are on here too , it wasn’t the easiest subject to research , I’m glad to be able to find out what treatments and get advice .

Welcome to our community, as one of the men on here I was diagnosed countless times with thrush and sent off to buy some canestan cream quite a few times. Eventually things got so difficult I ened up with a circumcision but that did not fix things and it was only when I saw a locum who diagnosed LS and prescribed topical steroids that I really got relief - it was amazing how fast the treatment produced results.
