I am new, again. I was a regular poster in the small hours some years ago but have just rejoined via a newer email and am trying to rediscover how it all works.
Previously had a gastrectomy due to a GIST but now am booked for a scan for potential bladder cancer
Thanks

Hi guys I was diagnosed 2 weeks ago with oropharyngeal cancer and it was a shock. They told me I can only have palliative doses of radiotherapy because it was too hard to have the 6 weeks. I haven't had the courage to look at Google and just know my mouth hurts now, I have strong painkillers Now and it can only get worse. Last night I had a panic attack and called on my husband and he got me breathing. So today I got in touch with Macmillan and they were so helpful, Thanks Karen. Everyone involved in my care has been so nice but now I have a week wth no appointments while I wait for a week of radiotherapy, loads of paper work and instructions, and am scared of panic attacks. Any advice anyone?
