Hi I’m a 42 year old female. Sorry for the long post, I just feel lonely no one understands.
Last two years I've struggled with heavy periods, very painful like contractions (having to change pads every hour), loosing clots also. Now very irregular periods then bleed for 2 to 6 weeks at a time. Constant heavy feeling down below, daily pain. Bleed after sex also.
I had a scan in April it’s showed thickened lining 14.6mm multiple cystic spaces in endo , pcos/pmos , and focal adenomyosis.
I had a biopsy done on 25/5/26 and consultant said 8 weeks for results due to back log. My mind doing over time now, and I have to have a full hysterectomy, he will start me on tablets to stop period and hrt to prepare me.
Has anyone else had similar symptoms /issues? Any advice would be helpful, thank you.

I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community, and although I haven't had the same symptoms as you I know how scared you're probably feeling right now.

This would be a great place for you to post as you'll then connect directly with others who have been through what you're going through now. Once you're ready you can start a new post in the womb cancer group in the same way as you did here.
