I’m not sure what goin on I had what I thought was a technical recall for breast screening yesterday but it wasn’t I found out they said there was a something going on with my left breast so they did the mammogram again then ultrasound and a biopsy. To go back next week with the breast surgeons for the results. I knw it’s probably not cancer but my head all over the place so was just looking for a bit of support. Thanks
I am sorry you had a mammogram recall Weeyin and that you are now waiting for results from your biopsy. As you say a lot of problems aren’t cancer at all and in my experience they tend to set expectations of what it is whilst doing the ultrasound and biopsy. My cancer started with a mammogram recall and the person who did the ultrasound told me he thought it was cancer. It meant I didn’t get a shock when I went for results and could focus on the type of cancer and the plan. If you are able to take someone with you to the results appointment I suggest you do so.
