Had a PSA test a few weeks ago which showed elevated levels.
sent for MRI scan which showed two areas “of interest” booked in for prostrate biopsy today which scared the life out of me, then get a phone call an hour before the appointment saying they hadn’t received my MRI report.
This is an emotional rollercoaster for me, feeling scared.
Hello Palerma
A warm welcome to the Online Community - although I am so sorry to find you joining us. I am Brian one of the Community Champions here at Macmillan and indeed I am in the 4th year of my personal Prostate cancer journey.
The Community is divided up into cancer specific groups and i would advise you to join us on the Prostate group where you will "meet" others on the same or similar journey - here's the link you need:
Once you click on the link I have provided and the link opens up click on "join" on the black banner at the bottom of the page. Once you have joined the group you can introduce yourself in the "New here - Say Hello" section. You can copy and paste or repost your post above on our group.
I can assure you of plenty of help and support on the group.
Best wishes - Brian.
