Hi all,
After a hysteroscopy 3 wks ago which showed a endometrium thickness of 23.7mm with a polyp measuring 36x23x28mm,I was diagnosed yesterday with aggressive womb cancer.Ive already had a double mx after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010 and have the BRCA1 gene,so this diagnosis wasnt unexpected.Im waiting for a date for both mri and ct scan which will be followed by hysterectomy.I fully expect to have to have chemo and radiotherapy afterwards.Im ok with it all,at the moment,I know there will be ups and downs but I just wanted to connect with others who are on this journey too.Thankyou.xx
Hello Faydas,
A warm welcome to the online community, although I'm sorry you have the need to join.
The community comprises numerous forums, each for specific types of cancer and I'm going to suggest that you join the womb forum and repost there to connect with others who are dealing with the same issues.
I've included a link to this below.
All the best
