Its been very scary to say the least,
The worry, the fear,
Trying to process it all,
I have aggressive fast growing cancer,
Stage 3,
Hello Sancho,
A warm welcome to the online community, although I'm sorry you have the reason to be here.
I also have prostate cancer, first diagnosed in 2016, recurred early 2024 when I started triplet therapy - chemotherapy and indefinite HT with a drug called darolutamide. I have blood tests every 12 weeks and so far my PSA remains undetectable so all is stable. I know the feelings you have described well.
The Macmillan community is made up of numerous cancer specific forums and I'd like to suggest you join the Prostate Cancer forum where you'll find many fellow sufferers, excellent support and advice based on our personal experiences.
I've put a link to this below.
When you join it would help if you add to your own profile with a brief summary of your story / treatment to date. Adding this helps other members tailor their replies to you. To do this on your home page click on the chair, top right, then "profile" and then "edit". Once you have written something don't forget to save it.
Derek.
