I'm day 16 post mastectomy and sentinel lymph node removal. I had my drain removed last Thursday and am generally feeling well with the expected amount of bruising, swelling and discomfort to my chest area and under my arm. I'm managing my arm exercises well and have been pottering indoors and having some walks. However yesterday I woke up with a swollen ankle and knee on the opposite side to my surgery. I've elevated iced and taken ibroprofen but it's still the same. This knee actually is a knee replacement but was done 5 years ago. I don't have any redness or pain in my leg. Has anyone else experienced this please? I will contact my breast nurse in the morning but am a bit concerned today. Thanks.
