I had lung cancer treated nearly 12 years ago although it was non small cell adenocarcinoma and not asbestos related so I have no experience of your type.

Hi Dodthepainter and a second welcome from me.
I have been on my Lymphoma (blood cancer) journey coming up to 26 years with 2 rare types of Lymphoma (one incurable) but I was also diagnosed in 2012 with Asbestos related Pleural Thickening and Pleural Plaque (Right Lung)….. fortunately my Asbestosis is stable at the moment moment but will remain incurable.
Along with the Lung Cancer group that my friend Derek excavator highlighted you may want to scan through the Mesothelioma group as you may bump into further some members in the same position as you but not with full on Mesothelioma.
Living with an incurable cancer is hard work but talking with others who are navigating the same pathway can help so do also look at our dedicated…..
