Hi

Not really sure what to write to be honest so here goes...I've recently been diagnosed with cervical cancer and I have 4 young children and an amazing partner! Still waiting on MRI & PET scans and treatment plan.  I have zero symptoms and my consultant thinks its early and contained from what she seen on colposcopy/biopsy results which is good but my anxiety is through the roof thinking "what if she's wrong" i can't sleep at night either! Is anyone else bene told similar news and it's been correct or been wrong? She did speak to me about fertility and ive told her I'm happy with a hysterectomy as I've 4 healthy children already and she noted that down.

So yeah, thats my story so far

  • I have recently been diagnosed with endometrial cancer and having a hysterectomy on Monday.  I feel the same in regards to anxiety and have not been sleeping.  It seems that most people feel the same way so perfectly natural.  Stay strong and I hope all works out for you.

  • Hi  and welcome to Macmillan.

This group is like our introduction to the community, and I see you’ve already joined our cervical cancer support group. The best place to make your post is the cervical group, so I’d recommend that you make a post there to introduce yourself and we can chat further.
