I have just been diagnosed with sclc and awaiting mri result on brain. Cancer in right lung and nodes. I am still in shock and anxious about the future.
Suggestion from consultant is chemo and radiotherapy.
I am sad and upset it is the aggressive cancer with poor prognosis. Frightens me more.
Has anyone else on here, had the same diagnoses?

Welcome to our community, I hope you find it both informative and supportive.
I am Steve, one of the community champions and my experience of cancer is via my wife who has Leiomyosarcoma so something of a different version to you.
The majority of the community is divided up by cancer types and experiences while new to the community is something like our front door. If you were to post in our Lung cancer forum I am sure there will be people with more direct expereince able to share with you. Using our search tool there are quite a few posts that mention sclc as we can see here
