Hi
I am new here and have been diagnosed with Stage 2 lung cancer but with the rarer mucinous subtype. Does anyone else here have this or experience of it? It has been suggested that chemo/immunotherapy followed by surgery is the best course of a action. However I am concerned that the medical team are applying the standard process to a non standard variant. My chemo is due to start next week and I am starting to think that surgery first would be the best option. I asked the surgeon yesterday but I was left confused after being told there was no evidence/data for my sub type.
I don't know what to do for the best and it's driving me crazy.
