Hi there everyone, so I finished chemotherapy in October for triple positive breast cancer and then went on to have 2 operations, one being a full lymph node removal.
I am no cancer free but I am on Preventative Kadcyla treatment until September and hormone blockers for ever and ever.
I am hoping to go on holiday this July and was wondering what travel insurance is best and how much is it going to cost me??
please anyone help Me
Hello Suzynics,
I have incurable prostate cancer and am on indefinite maintanance also including hormone therapy. I used comparison site Albert & Eddie (yes, strange name I know) which is owned by the same group that owns a few specialist travel insurers including Insurancewith and Holidaysafe. I got worldwide annual cover from Holidaysafe with a price that was acceptable for my circumstances.
The cost can vary considerably so it's probably best to go online and see what turns up. You'll have answer health questions which can be a little confusing sometimes and, if you have any doubts at all as to whether you've answered correctly I suggest you follow up and 'phone them to go through your answers to make sure they're understood.
You could also have a read through the travel insurance group, the link is below.
I hope you can get cover you're happy with to be able to get away.
