I'm 70 and have just seen the consultant who says I have to have surgery to remove all my reproductive organs, appendix and a layer of abdominal fat as I have a mass on one ovary and cysts on the other. Waiting for a letter giving me a date. I hope it won't take long to come. I just want to get on with it and stop the cancer spreading any more. He said it would be done in 4-6 weeks which seems like a long time.

I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community, and although I've had different cancer diagnoses to you I recognise the feeling of just wanting to get on with it.
The online community is divided into different support groups so I'm going to recommend that you join the ovarian cancer group as you'll then connect directly with others who have the same type of cancer as you.

It would be great if you could put something about your diagnosis into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway.
