I am undergoing treatment for breast cancer. I am nearing the end of my chemo and need to make a decision on surgery. I am considering staying flat after single mastectomy and am hoping that there's a place where uniboobers chat about issues and share ideas for flat living. There seem to be loads of Facebook groups that cover both SMX and DMX life but right now I feel I need a SMX community. Anyone know of one?

I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community, and I was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years ago. I had a lumpectomy, so didn't need to make the sort of decision that you do.
Whilst the online community doesn't have a group for SMX it does have a breast cancer group, where you'll connect directly with others who might also have had to make a similar decision to you.
To join, just click on the link I've created and, once you've joined, you can start a new post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
It would be great if you could put something about your diagnosis and treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'.
