Hi I’m new to this. I was diagnosed, following a 2 year delay in a routine cystoscopy for a benign enlarged prostate, so I had that privately. Thank goodness!! I’ve had 6 weeks local chemo on the NHS and been told I’ll have a follow up cystoscopy after 1-2 months. I’ve no symptoms (didn’t have any anyway) but no word of follow up after 2 months now. What’s anyone else’s experience? What happens to the proposed prostate treatment or will it still be delayed? I was told that the risk of recurrence of the cancer is low but what does that mean in practical terms?
Welcome to our community, I hope you find it both informative and supportive.
New to the community it something of a welcome mat to the community which is mostly divided up in to different groups based on cancer type or expereince. You might like to look at and possibly join our Bladder cancer forum .
I had not heard of TCC bladder cancer but I did find some information that looks useful on the cancer research website.
<<hugs>>
Steve
